A gem lost in a heap of rag! That is an apt description of Bishan Swaroop, which appears lost in the maze of Chandni Chowk's chaotic by-lanes. This place conjures up the magic of a bygone era and of lost tastes. This little stall has been serving only three things: delectable Aloo Chaat, Aloo ke Kulle and the fabulous Fruit Chaat. Bishan Swaroop also offers another Aloo Kulla which transforms the lowly potato into a real gastronomic delight. If you have the appetite for such stuff, go to Lal Qila, hire a rickshaw and go straight to Bishan to taste something which is out of the ordinary.

In the by-lanes of old Delhi there are lots of hidden yet popular eateries that serve authentic and delicious north Indian delicacies. Last time when I came here with a friend he took me to Bishan Swaroop Food Chat Corner. I had Fruit Chat and some Aloo Kulla that tasted great. This small chat corner is good in its food and thankfully hygiene is one of their good business qualities.
