Baboo Mashai is your quintessential Bengali dhaba-of-sorts at the Chittaranjan Park area. It's USP lies in sticking to the basics without trying anything different. The spices used here are authentic enough and the food has the true-blue flavour of Bengali cuisine. The Mochar Ghanta, the Pabda, the Tengra Jhol and the Rohu Kalia are recommended. You could also give the Aloo Posto, the Shukto, the Dhokar Dalna, the Ilish Bhape, the Kosha Mangsho and the Chingri Malai a try. Baboo Mashai might not be the ultimate in refined Bengali cuisine but it's worth an occasional visit.

not worth anyones money, portions are too small and doesnt even taste good. for bengali food at prices lower than oh calcutta head straight for bijoligrill in delhi haat.
