If you are nostalgic about the Raj days, just walk into Curzon Room. High-ceilinged but small enough to suggest intimacy, its decor has been skilfully done in sepia tones. The walls are full of Raj-era photographs and the cutlery dates back half a century. Though the menu is perfectly adequate, it little matches the stunning interiors and the mood of the entire hotel. There is Grilled Polenta Cake, Roast Chicken and Mixed Grill in the Western section. The Indian section has standard offerings: Murgh Malai Tikka, Vegetarian Biryani and Lamb Rogan Josh. In spite of its atmospherics, the Room does not receive too many footfalls, probably because it is not in the happening part of the city.

Last week I went to Curzon Room with my family to spend some nice time together. We were stunned looking at the interiors. The walls were decorated with the photographs of decades back. We had Murgh Malai Tikka, Vegetarian Biryani and Lamb Rogan Josh. Along with these, we ordered Roasted Chicken and Grilled Polenta Cake. The food was nice, ambiance was great and service was good too. I found Curzon Room, a perfect place to spend time with family and friends.
