Traditionally, Agni means The Hindu god of fire and guardian of humanity. Maybe the owners are trying to drive a point home or were simply trying to create a 'sizzling hot' destination. The classically trained chef Anurudh Khanna rebounds with this snazzy new entrant in the Connaught Place area, from the team of Gm Debjit Banerjee and mixologist Arindam Basu - the same trio were behind the super successful Aqua. You go to Agni not just to eat less, drink more, but to have fun, but you absolutely need to know the right time to go!! Weekends are best from around 11-ish, the music starts up and everyone's dancing to DJ Vaibhav's hits. The raised console reverberates along with psychedelic visuals from screens around and blinking cats eyes on the ceiling. Agni is really a one of a kind experience and definitely a pricey one. They make amongst the best mosa. Between the flaming Lambourghini shots and the bottle popping, the evening will turn out successful. Other specials are the Apple Martini and their exhaustive lists of single malts, wines, vodkas, bourbons etc. Go easy or you are bound to feel somewhat financially raped.

Contrary to the name, the place is a cool and happening place. The crowd is amazing. The food is yummy
but expensive. The drinks, ambience and great music can help you ease your tensions. You can visit the
place and have fun for sure.
