Taking its name and drawing inspiration from global street cultures and street dancers who dance to a boombox, this partnership venture between restaurateur Priyank Sakhuja (Out of the Box, 1 Boulevard, Masha Etc.),model-actor Zulfi Syed and actor Aditya Panscholi have opened two other outlets in Delhi after finding success in Khan Market. With an overall grungy vibe, brick-exposed walls, graffiti on the wall and metal shutters; Boombox is an interesting place. A popular and rather high-end hookah joint thronged by rncollege kids, they offer extensive multi-cuisine fare with an experimental African section and a decent bar menu. The Khan Market outlet has an added advantage of serving delectable dumplings from the neighbouring - Dimsum Dimsum, also run by the same company. That itself puts it a notch above other locations. More of a beer and vodka place, if you must order something new, try the flavoured tequila shots or just stick to their bottle service. For teetotalers, a shake named KLPD is a good conversation starter. The playlist consists of popular and fusion music, but the service really needs to clean up its act.

Boombox Café has become my Sunday favorite spot to spend time with friends. I like the décor and the paintings hanged on the wall. Putting décor at the side line, I would say for me the place is suitable as I get variety of drinks. The Watermelon Martini, Margarita, LIIT or tequila shots in different flavors, everything is available.

Going to this place with friends was certainly fun! The ambience was quiet pleasant and appealing. The drinks and food made my day. The dance floor kept us in lively spirits. I liked the kebabs a lot.
