The coffee shop of the Ramada is not the most fashionable venue for a cup of coffee. Situated near the roundabout of Le Meridien and Shangri-La, the only advantage that Lutyens has is one of price. The name too, conjures up images of the planner of New Delhi, but forget about all that. What you'll get in place of British Raj meets Independent India is swathes and swathes of Italian marble. It's on the walls, floor and pillars. Ignore, if you can, the pretentiousness of the place and dig in to some rather standard fare. It has to be said that the predominantly Indian menu with a sprinkling of international hits is not as bad as appearances would suggest.
