Tao is an Oriental restaurant from a group that has delivered one success after another - Zen, Yorks, Fujiya, Ginza and Chungwa. The ambience helps you achieve overall harmony in the tradition of Ying and Yang. The Chicken Wanton Soup may set your mood. But sushi is the best choice here. Worth a special mention is the Hosomaki, which features salmon, tuna, prawn and crab wrapped in nori sheets - a real delight. Also worth checking out are the Nigiri and Futomaki. Vegetarians can go for Claypot Vegetables. The Teriyaki is well-prepared. If it is Chinese you want, the Chinese Crispy Sliced Fish tossed in oyster chilli sauce and Claypot Chicken served with Steamed Rice make a nice meal. Tao is a satisfying destination for an Oriental culinary journey. True to its name, Tao leads you on a path to gastronomical satiation.

I made the great discovery of this restaurant a few months ago while roaming around the happening streets of connaught place! Not only does it have incredible Chinese, their Japanese and Thai dishes are delicious too!! We had the sushi platter which is the best I've had and so reasonably priced! Their dimsums are great and do try their Claypot Vegetables!! The service staff is prompt and courteous. TAO is always a great experience. I would recommend it to all!!

We chanced upon this place while walking around CP. The interiors have been done up extremely well and the lounge music they were playing was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and made some recommendations which helped us decide what to order, given the large number of dishes on offer. The chicken dimsums were very well made and the yakitori salmon was the best we had ever eaten. The red thai curry and ebi tempura too were delicious! A must visit for all!
