Cafe Uno has an unbeatable location - in the heart of the city. With just a bit more effort, it could be the rendezvous of the capital's movers and shakers, but for that a few things will have to change. Most important, it will need to acquire its own personality: The sprawling layout of the buffet, the multitude of live cooking stations all could do with an overhaul. The buffet is far more popular than the a la carte menu, and with the stylish dessert counter, one begins to see why. For customers with special needs, there is always a sugar-free option or two. The a la carte menu has the usual suspects lined up: Paneer Hara Pyaaz, Dal Makhni, Club Uno Sandwich and Murgh Makhni. One of the best offerings is the tenderloin burger, made with real imported chuck steak, minimally seasoned and grilled. It makes a complete meal.
