Located on the first floor in Connaught Place, Ignis affords a great view of the whole circle. For the view, the best time to rnvisit is late evening. Though of quite recent origin, it looks as ageless and timeless as Embassy and Volga. Don't miss the Chettinad Mutton Pepper Fry that is absolutely authentic; Dal Muradabadi, which is ordinary yellow dal with a variety of accompaniments, and the delicious Irish Stew. Vietnamese Grilled Chicken and the California Platter are also recommended. It is one of the few restaurants where tea-time snacks, Indian and Western, are all uniformly good. For dessert, Parsi Malai Kulfi is worth a shot. For the calorieconscious, there is sugar-free Kulfi.
