Alas for the one renovation that has not quite blazed new trails. The new restaurant now occupies the space that Sakura used to. A large entrance lobby, a lounge area and a PDR have been carved out so that the restaurant itself is fairly small and cramped with tables too close to one another. It doesn't helpv that the chairs/sofas are extremely uncomfortable. And the food is not much better. You have to order three starters per person, which are charged at `500 and don't come in sharing portions. Dumba Zardaloo turned out to be a Parsi-inspired preparation of lamb in an apricot-flavoured gravy sprinkled over with crisp potato straws. Indian food for Japanese clientele in short.
