A singularly low-key bakery and patisserie run by two bakers (who are often in the show kitchen in the flagship store at Def Col Market). Between them, they manage to supply all their outlets with quality goods of a high degree of standardization. Their best product is a decadent chewy brownie - with walnuts and without - take your pick. Their lemon tarts have the perfect blend of tartness and sweetness, and Apple Crumble Pie, French Hearts, Cartoon Pastries and Cartoon Cupcakes, especially for young children's parties, are all dependable treats. An array of multi-grain breads and other savouries are also available. The best of these are the croissants and the chicken puffs. This bakery has acquired many branches because of its value-for-money proposition and its great cakes and pastries. Their Cointreau/Drambuie cakes and a chocolate 'champagne' bottle filled with liqueur chocolate truffle are their most popular celebration cakes.
