Two partners, both from Amritsar, both chefs, both with experience overseas, come back to open a modest takeaway featuring only the food of their hometown. It is a rip-roaring success, with every Punjabi food aficionado in Gurgaon on first-name basis with the partners. There's no place to sit: You have to order on the phone. Tawa Chicken, Brain Curry, Mutton Chaamp Masala and Mutton Tikka are as good - and as rich - as you'd get in Amritsar. Other treats include Butter Chicken, Dal Makhni and Kadhai Paneer. They also undertake wedding and party catering and can hire Kulcha makers from Amritsar, where their network is firmly entrenched.

Wah! Amritsar is one of the places where you can get authentic Punjabi food. I went there few days back with my cousin to spend some time on a good dining. We ordered Tawa Chicken, Mutton Tikka, Butter Chicken and Karhai Paneer along with some naans. The food was really nice and delicious. The place was more like a dhaba and service was good too. The place was really nice and food was yummy. Tawa Chicken was as good as you can have in Amritsar.
