One of the better stand-alone restaurants in Gurgaon, this unpretentious eatery seems to cater to expatriates. And not surprisingly either: the management owns Needs Supermarket next door, a favourite shopping venue for the expat community. The menu of The Oak Tree includes Western, Lebanese and Oriental food. There is a preponderance of red meat on the menu - look out for the superior-quality Bratwurst Sausages and excellent tenderloin. Norwegian Salmon and Canadian Pork Chops are also good. The pizzas are the glory of the restaurant. The Mezze Platter is great: completely authentic and filling enough to be arnwhole meal. Leave place for the melt-in-the-mouth cheesecake which comes with assorted wild berry compote.
