To be able to eat genuine Lucknavi cuisine and that too on the side of the road at down-to-earth prices sounds like a dream come true, but the Qureshi brothers - Imtiaz Qureshi’s sons - have opened up three modest ventures serving the food of their forefathers. One just hopes that they keep up their quality, because The Final Frontier serves Kakori Kebabs, the likes of which are available only in fivestar hotels and at ten times their price. Also great is the Murgh Afghani, the Mutton Boti, the Chicken Korma and the Sikora Phirni. Do be warned that some items are made in advance and kept, so you may encounter the occasional stale Lachchha Paratha.

I usually do not come to this part of the city unless I have to meet some friend or just have to cross this area to reach some destination. Last time I came here to meet a friend and we both sat at The Final Frontier restaurant. This restaurant serves Lucknavi cuisine at a rate which is really low in comparison to the quality and quantity of the food. I had kebabs and loved their Kakori Kebabs, Mutton Boti that I had with naan. The non veg dishes of this restaurant are must haves and The Final Frontier sure is one of the finest restaurants in this area of the city.
