The Bangkok-based Bawarchi restaurant has outlets in Gurgaon and Delhi but they are not in the same league as their parent branch in Thailand. Nonetheless you may start with Chicken Talumien Soup, which is good. Chicken Wings is an absolute delight but Paneer Tikka is avoidable. In the main course, the Mutton Rogan Josh is made well. The Thai has Nam Prik Kai, Toa Plu Jay and Tom Yum Koong among appetizers. The main course served includes Kang Ksaw Wan, Kai Pad Prik Keng, Khao Pad Jay and Khao Suey. You may top it off with Khao Neaw Ma Maung to sweeten your mouth. Bawarchi may not rank among the greats but is a value-formoney proposition.
