Saltz, the brand new cafe, perched atop Gelato Vittorio in GK's M Block Market, has quite a few surprises to offer. The place itself isn't particularly impressive looking; but it isn't bad either. It is a cafe no more, no less. The menu at Saltz is a no fuss affair, printed on the sky blue paper table mat, and tilts towards the Orient, more than any other part of the world. And Saltz does a good job of it, with more than a generous inclusion of pepper as well. I would recommend that you start with the Vietnamese Salad Rolls, they are absolutely first-rate. I would also suggest the Crispy Fish Raw Mango Salad, Thai inspired but generous in its serving. On the other hand, the Mushroom Corn Cheese Chilli Sandwich is common. But all is forgiven, and forgotten, with the arrival of Pho, an outstanding Vietnamese flat noodle soup with just the right flavours and aromas. The Chicken Phad Thai is not bad but, to be honest, I've had better. Despite its intriguing name, do do try the Bunny Chao, served with a bun this really is a meal in itself. However, the Grilled Vegetables with Smoked Tomato Sauce on Cous Cous, for the main course, is a huge disappointment. Settle for the Braised Roast Pork. While the Baked Lemon Cheese Cake on Chocolate Brownie is sinfully good, I'd still opt for the best best best gelato from downstairs go on, ask for that Double Scoop of Hazel Nut and Belgian Chocolate Gelato and you are guaranteed to go home with a better view of the world. All in all, thiz one iz worth the vizit. Itz affordable; itz accessible itz approachable. But, mozt of all, itz got the thing called zing. Yes, that's zing with a z!

In m Block Market, Saltz café is a fine place to sit with friends and have some rare and one of its kinds food items. I have tried their Braised Roast Pork which is their best till date. Vietnamese Flat Noodle Soup is also warm winter delicacy. During my past few visits to this area Saltz has become a regular meeting point for me and my friends.

I like Saltz because it is nothing much and less less but pure food, just like its name. Do not forget to order
Crispy Fish Raw Mango Salad a Thai inspired culinary delight and Mushroom Corn Cheese Chilli Sandwich if you want to play it safe.
However, Pho the Vietnamese soup is just superb. Well, these are the things that I generally love eating here. Just try Saltz once you will definitely visit it twice.
