Cafe Zaffiro is the only restaurant in Zamrudpur hosting photography exhibits, kitsch flea bazaars and corporate dinners. It is a part of a lifestyle store, Zaza, so it makes a pleasant afternoon out, especially if you are not driving yourself: parking can be a challenge. Some of their signatures include hummus, Greek Cheese, salads and low-fat spreads. The Giant Club Sandwich still rules the roost so do Spinach and Cheese Ravioli, Porcini Risotto and Chicken Steak. The best option is the Pot Roast Lamb with Mint, which has been given a Zaffiro spin here. Also, the Lemon Pie is no lighter than a whisper. No ingredient has been fried when it can be grilled, and the salads are hearty enough to be meals in a bowl. Check out their high-protein sandwiches with tofu and other grills as well as their sugar-free desserts. Zaffiro combines luxury with functional art.
