Oui oui monsieur, the lateeest gastronomique-cal offeeering comes to us in thee form of Nudeli in New Delhi. Situated in the square that houses Diva, in the GK II M Block Market, Nudeli desperately seeks Frenchdom, and ends up somewhere in between - in between New Delhi and Paris, that is. This swank, four-storied, 140 cover restaurant-cum-lounge oozes effort - but, somehow, falls short in the food department. Avoid the soups - both the Prawn & Crab Bisque and the Broccoli Soup - are iffy. The Pate Maison, served with Melba Toast, the Fillet Mignon, the Nudeli Pizzette Platter - each lack that something special. For better are the main course options: the Coq Au Vin, the Roast Duck a la Orange and the Couscous with Lamb would be my recommendations. Nudeli could be visited for the novelty of it. But serious French food? Nu, nu, nu, nu!
