A cousin of the celebrated Salt Water Grill on Mumbai's Marine Drive, Smoke House Grill celebrates cutting-edge gastronomy. It offers Delhi something that is innovative - a profusion of ingredients that have been smoked in-house by a unique cold smoking process. It's not overdone, however, and only about one-third of the items on the menu are smoked. The look is understated yet stylish. On the minus side are the prices: This version of competent cooking is not cheap. The latest menu has John Dory with Sunflower Seed and Kaffir Lime Risotto with Sun-Dried Tomato, House-Spiced Grilled Chicken with Lyonnaise Potato and Roasted Pod of Garlic. The delightfully named Underwater Soup features mackerel, squid and prawn combined with seaweed and fish consomme to give it a bottom-of-the-ocean appearance! Smoke House Grill has a popular bar on the ground floor.

I have been there for drinks several times. Probably one of the great ambiances i have seen so far in a restaurants in delhi And the worst food ever i had. Food is tasteless. Come here only for the drinks.

I had heard rave reviews about this Delhi staple but an unplanned visit proved it was far better than expected. The chef informed us that all the ingredients here are cold smoked before cooking, while the food is grilled on hardwoods. Yum!
Stick to the recommendations of Sweet potato and Gorgonzola ravioli and Oyster shots for appetizers. In mains, the Norwegian Salmon with Chenin 'kokum' reduction has a superb texture and flavour while the vegetarian Pesto quenelles are underplayed. We weren’t drinking but spooned up large heaps of the Vanilla panacotta and left on a high.
