The Assam Food Stall at Dilli Haat is among the few Assamese choices available in the city. Narikol Peetha and Chicken/Pork in Bamboo Shoot are good. Masar Tenga, which is fish curry, is their speciality. Kharicha is a recommended veg speciality. It is a dish made from bamboo shoots that are finely chopped and lightly pickled/fermented. Other delicacies include Fish Muri Ghanta, Tilpitha, Aloo Pitika and Baigan Pitika. You may also opt for Luchi Bhaji. Narikol Laru is there for those with a sweet tooth. The Chinese is of the Chow Mein-momos type and the North Indian dishes include Dal Makhni and Shahi Paneer. The Green Park Extension branches serve food only to their lodgers.
