Also a bit of an art house, Flipside Cafe has cheerful yellow and red walls. This little place is so exactly what back-packers want that they happily come looking for it, all the way from Paharganj. There's a Go -Manali vibe, an ultra-simple menu of crepes, pizzas, cakes and pastries, which are displayed in the glass case. Service as you and I know it is non-existent. Patronized by expats and budget tourists complete with back-packs, this is the place where you can linger for two hours on your laptop and not be shooed away. The food won't win Michelin stars, but then, it isn't about the food. Go there to enjoy a little slice of the Flipside of things.
