Dilli Darbar is no haven for Mughlai. It is rather an ordinary Delhi restaurant. However, dishes like Paneer Tikka and Chilli Chicken are awesome. Chicken and Mutton Biryani are not close to an authentic preparation but they try to compensate for this with good helpings of dry fruits. In fact, the menu has all the predictable Delhi fare. Murgh Tangdi, Dahi ke Kebab and Butter Chicken are among the better choices. Paneer Makhni, Murgh Nawabi Tikka, Qaafli Seekh Kabab, Paneer Aatish-e-Noor, Tandoori Khumb, Veg Platter, Vegetable Manchurian, Punjab Kukkad Masaledar, Murgh Handi Lazeez, Gosht Rahra, Paneer Butter Masala, Paneer Makhmali and Khumb Hara Dhaniya are not very good but not bad either. This Darbar deserves your tashreef occasionally.
