A paradise for non-vegetarians, Barbeque Nation offers lip-smacking starters. With its eat-till-you-drop fixed-menu option, the restaurant is visited by hungry regulars. There is a menu of the day that changes regularly. You are served your starters at your table (you indicate whether you want vegetarian or non-vegetarian). You get up for the main courses. The fixed price is gratifyingly low and technically you could eat up a storm for a relatively modest outlay, which explains the popularity. Frankly, with prices like theirs, it is a business run like a caterer rather than a fine-dining gastronomic paradise. Fish, chicken or mutton, go to Barbeque Nation..

Buzz: 2.5/5 | Décor: 2.5/5

Barbeque Nation is spread out on two floors and in the evening, this European themed resto-bar reverberates with laughter as a mix of families, couples and corporate clients dig into their food to the accompaniment of a live band. As the name suggests, the heart of this place is the live grill, where every item of your choice is marinated and grilled right in front of you. The starters are lip smacking. The bar comes second to this. They have some interesting cocktails like Jaljeera Mojito, Masala Margarita and Smoky Bloody Mary on offer. Chocolate Monk and Morning Glory are good bets in mocktails. They don't have an a la carte menu, but a fixed buffet with a range of starters, main course and desserts. Book your table before going there.

I finally ate at BARBEQUE NATION. My fave was their Peri Peri Tangdi it was very flavoursome and I just had to order another portion. Their Zulu sauce was also very interesting. I had never had Mint Prawns before and I loved them at this restaurants. The prawns had a very interesting flavour. The Mutton Dum Biryani was also amazing. I really really loved it. I would strongly recommend it. To end the evening I had their blueberry cheesecake which was decent but I have had better.I would rate the food 3.5/5 and the service 3.5/5 too.

They have a very good option of barbeque starters..The way they serve these is so amazing that you would end up requesting them not to get more starters :).. delicious food..This was my first time but i would love going to this place again.

For celebrating her 21st. birthday, my daughter suggested the dinner at Barbeque Nation, Janakpuri...it was truly an awesome choice! We reached at about 8.30 pm on a Monday evening and the restaurant was bustling with the patrons...we were lucky to get a table for four of us in the ground floor itself. Going with the flow, we opted for the buffet dinner but never expected that to be so lavish an affair!A barbeque with crackling charcoal fire was promptly set up at the centre of our table and skewers loaded with delectable kebabs started landing incessantly...we had chunks of herb chicken, mutton seekh kebab, tandoori tangri, chilly prawn and garlic fish all repeated in wanton abundance in the non-veg variety; BBQ pineapple, button mushrooms, paneer and other vegetables in spicy marinades were also devoured with delight! And these were only the starters...the items on buffet were too many with great choices for both veg and non-veg varieties. I would specially mention about the mutton curry, it was really well prepared with right aroma and spices. After this great feast I could not do much justice to the dessert section restricting myself only to fruits...there were sweets, brownies, pastries, souffl...We were simply spoiled by the eagerly hospitable staff of Barbeque Nation...the floor manager, chef himself and many service hands stopped by to enquire about the food, any special liking of ours, anything to be repeated...I must mention about a small incident - my offer to tip the waiter was politely turned down pointing out that the restaurant had already levied a service charge @ 4% in the final bill...this was amazing! I bumped into a small bunch of Germans heavily indulging in Indian food at Barbeque Nation...one of them quipped that they would seriously explore the chances of opening its outlet in Munich! The bottom-line: At a price-point of Rs.2200.00 (at a discount of Rs.600.00 from prevailing price!) + taxes for four of us, the quality & taste of food and service at the restaurant were impeccable! We all yearn for our next trip to the restaurant and its latest outlet soon to be opened at Vasant Kunj should help us attain the nirvana faster!
