An old-fashioned restaurant that was set up long, long before Khan Market acquired its super-trendy status. They sell not because of authenticity but because of familiarity. Though the new branch in the inner lane is comparatively new, it lacks the homely appeal of the ground floor branch. You go to Chonas to partake of their brand of old-time favourites. Some examples include the Kathi Roll with chutney, whose recipe has remained constant for at least two decades. Then, there's the sort of Chinese that you'll find nowhere else. If you're an old-timer, you don't need to be told about the comfort factor of the Chona's brand of food; if you are young and hip, you might like to look elsewhere!
