The first-floor restaurant has an all-white decor. The cuisine is a combination of South-East Asian and European. The USP is that instead of concentrating on the usual Chinese and Thai suspects, Blanco has a plethora of lesser known gems from Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. Go for the Sesame Crisp Rolls with Black Mushrooms or Hanoi Prawns. The Soups stand out: The best of the lot are Chicken Pho and the Tuscan Tomato Soup with Fresh Basil. The Tokyo Udon Noodles - really a meal in itself - is recommended. The Premium Cut Tenderloin Steak is a patty masquerading as a steak. Much tastier and more authentic are the Malaysian Laksa and the Soto Ayam. Kingfish Steam with Olive Potatoes and Lemongrass Scented Chicken Steak with Wine Sauce are delicious. The After Eight Cake and the Philadelphia Lemon Cheesecake are both great choices for a valedictory note.
