Quintessentially a place for the young this eatery is lively and offers a range of cuisines. Relish Tandoori starters and Lebanese kebabs on the first floor, which is meant exclusively for the Gen X. Prefer European over Chinese fare. Urban Café isn’t a serious food joint so, while away your time with a shake or smoothie and a pizza with folks. The Saket outlet, which has a sober ambience, serves a mix of cuisines, amongst which Vietnamese dominates.

This Khan Market outlet has surely seen better days. On a Friday night, of their two floor seating, only 4 tables in total were occupied. The lighting alone creates the feel of a fine-dine, while everything else is a blaring contrast. From the confused music to the random movie screening on the giant screen to a menu where every page is laid out on a background of somewhat raunchy images – it’s a bizarre experience. The cocktails here fare better thankfully. The Blushing Geisha has sake, coconut rum, melon liqueur and strawberry curacao, which takes over the colour and flavour. The Moscow Mule with vodka, fresh lime squeeze and ginger beer has no overpowering flavours but lingers on. Thankfully, they use decent liquor measures and the mixology isn’t entirely shoddy. For eats, the Hummus with Chunky Lamb is succulent and perfectly spiced. The place seems to have been shunned by the loyal hookah smoking patrons it was packed with in its earlier days. We are rather curious about how and why it’s still up and running with such a low show on an otherwise buzzing Friday night.

I love going to Khan Market and after a heavy amount of shopping with tiredness I love to visit this place. This time i went I ordered a Falafel cause Ive never eaten one before. But I really didnt like it. Maybe the taste is same everywhere and didnt suit my liking or maybe they make it this way. Then we ordered Mushroom Rolls. There was a little abundance of cheese in it but still it was delightful. Then we ordered Subz Biryani which was to my amazment the most delicious Veg biryani I had ever tasted. I always go for Chicken Biryani but this time I wanted to try the Veg one and it was really tempting. The ambience is pleasant as well.

Sadly, I went on a day when the place was almost about to rip apart at the seams because of the massive crowd! But, then again, the ambience, food, drinks, service ... Everything was just right ... Definitely a place to visit!
