The Beer Cafe deserves credit for introducing Delhiites to the joy of a stout all the way from Ireland or the romance of a wonderful Belgian blonde, even after it has relocated to Gurgaon and to a much quieter part of the same mall as the sprawling Rockman's. The decor is regular, but the bright lights are a buzz kill. What they lack in interiors, they make up for with enthusiasm and a bevy of global beers priced at par with their retail value. It's usually habituated by large gangs of office-goers and mall rats making use of their self-pour and beer card options, but I say settle for the rich, fruity flavours of the Abbey brewed Leffe Blonde or the Murphy's Irish Stout - a respectable balanced ale poured from a pressurised draught flow can with initial hints of roasted coffee and chocolate aromas, but a light body. You can line your stomach with their most popular dish - Chilli Chicken Dry and Nachos, but it should suffice to say that both only do the job of leaving your palate over-spiced and dry leading to repeat beer orders, which is not an entirely bad thing.

Kirti Nagar is like my second home. Almost every evening I pay a visit to this place with my friends. Recently, we decided to visit 'The Beer Cafe' at Moments Mall. They have limited space, which looks like congested with so many tables around. The ambiance was full of lights and quite uncomfortable. We had few beers along with starters. Obviously beer is never a problem, but starter was. We had Chicken and Spring rolls. Both of them were fine but not good. Other dishes, we had, were also okay types but can’t say delicious. The best part is that the place is quite reasonable.
