This place used to be Italia, till it changed its name but not, alas, its interiors. Thankfully, the menu is completely different. Water melon Carpaccio with Feta and Kalamata dressing is one of the finest starters in the entire city, it has its inspiration in Greek street food and is highly recommended. Even the pizzas, called Flat Breads on the menu, have more imaginative toppings than the norm. However, what really does stand out is the Carpaccio section: unlike most other Italian restaurants that have one token carpaccio on the menu, The Med has a whole section. Angus Tenderloin Carpaccio with Parmesan, Capers and Truffle Oil makes a great starter. Smoked Swordfish Prosciutto and Scallop Carpaccio is another gem. On no account should you miss the outstanding Burrata and Tomato salad - a mozzarella-like cheese with added butter whipped into it. Made in the NCR especially for this restaurant, it is a treat.

I am not a huge Pizza lover but I like eating pizza here as they actually steps out of the traditional topping menu to experiment and serve different taste..The Med offers different food options in same category like in Pasta or Carpaccio category there are more than usual dishes..letting you exercise your free will.
