The House of Ming remains crowded with the movers and shakers of the city. The succession of chefs from China that have come and gone in a steady stream have left their mark on the cuisine served here. The extensive offering of over thirty varieties of dim sums is excellent. Try the Hargao, Lotus Leaf Wrapped Chicken in Glutinous Rice, Shrimp Sui Mai and Spinach Dumpling. Between chefs, the menu remains resolutely entrylevel, but the who's who that crowds the restaurant isn't complaining. Crispy Conjee Lamb Beijing Style, and Silken Mapu Tofu with Black Bean Sauce: these appeal to the regular customers. Do not ignore the desserts. The Fried Ice Cream and the Spicy Fig with Vanilla Ice Cream are divine and offer an excellent way to wrap up a satisfying meal. If you are in the mood for schmoozing, the House of Ming is just the thing!
