Royal Dakshin suffers from one disadvantage - its location. Tucked away inside Picnic Huts on MG Road, the restaurant doesn't motivate potential visitors to find their way there. Even during peak hours, there aren't too many customers beyond the eager-to-please staff. Still, the place in itself is a great place to dine, with the high point being its cuisine from different states of South India. I strongly recommend the Chicken Chettinad, Alam Kodi, Kerela Mutton Fry, the Meen Kozhambu, the Venchina Mamsum, the Ennai Katrika Vegetable Stew, the Malabar Fish Curry and the Avial - the speciality here. Certainly worth a visit!
