This restaurant on the roof of Ambawatta Complex has a wonderful view of the surroundings, with the Qutub Minar in the foreground. The food at this pleasant place with terrace seating is unpretentious and cooked by well-trained Indian chefs. They serve mainly Thai but there is also a touch of other Oriental cuisines. Yam Takrai Koong is a delicious, tangy prawn salad with crunchy fresh prawns. Crab with Black Pepper, Galangal and Honey is unmissable for the great crab in its shell that is easy to eat. Kai Phad Krapaw is a warm dish of minced chicken dressed with a burst of flavours that explode on the palate. Pla Phad Khing is fish stir-fried with ginger and spring onion. The manager is extremely knowledgeable. Thai High is the place for a relaxed evening in glamorous surroundings at reasonable prices.
