This global chain of restaurants was started in 1999 as a tribute to the legendary Kundan Lal Gujral. They now operate 132 Moti Mahals globally through the franchise route, of which Delhi–NCR alone has 31. In fact, it is difficult to visit a mall without coming across the Moti Mahal brand. The food is of good quality and you get an array of lip-smacking dishes: Butter Chicken, Dal Makhni, Shahi Paneer, Burrah Kebab, Chicken Pakora, Reshmi Kebab and Garlic Chicken Kebab, among others. If the rate at which the number of their outlets is increasing continues, it would be little wonder if they spread in all cities of India in the next five years.
