More than a decade ago, Al Bake’s version of Lebanese Shawarma took Delhi by culinary storm. Chicken slices cooked over a rotary flame, seasoned with lemon juice, rolled inside pita bread and served with garlic mayonnaise made delicious eating. However, they seem to be compromising on quality in their bid to expand. It also serves a variety of quick bites. Momos and Chop Suey sell like hot cakes! Adraki Chaamp, Tangri Kebab, Ajwaini Machchhi and Nizami Malai Kofta are among its other dishes. Rogan Josh, Chicken Biryani and Tandoori Chicken provide further variety. You can also try out Kadhai Chicken — cooked in gravy and flavoured with crushed black pepper and coriander. Their parent counter in the New Friends Colony market may not be chic, but still has its fair share of takers.

Went here on a friends recommendation, the place was good. The most famous is the Shwarma roll, which is very good and the mayonnaise dip is amazing (this does not really count as I can eat teak wood if covered in good mayo ;) ) The size is really small, you will have to eat about 10 rolls to be full on them. The taste is definitely one of the best Ive ever had. It is a must go if you are in the area, but not really a place to travel a lot to be here IMHO.

I became fond of Al-bake authentic dishes, which is served with real aroma only at this outlet located in Community Centre of NFC. I started my dinning fiesta with Al-bake signature Shawarma, a roll made with finely chopped chicken. Further the Afghani Chicken, Tangri Kebad and Butter Chicken kept me engaged in a delectable journey of best of Arabian dishes.Food was yummy. In the negative side, I will say that the interior is not attractive and somehow not comfortable especially during weekends due to high foot fall. The price is too high as per the service and decor.
