After years and years of being in the business, the food at Tamura has remained consistent. The restaurant has been decorated as a familiar comfort zone for Japanese expats, and rare is the non-Japanese national who can be seen here. There is tatami seating in addition to table seating. The menu has become more evolved over the years, and now includes such delicacies as Pig's Ear on Skewers, but beware: It is only for those who know what they are doing. Not only is their Prawn Tempura good but also it's one of the few dishes to appeal to our palate. Broth-Simmered Udon with Miso and the Tempura Soba Soup are also familiar options. Great if you have to take a homesick Japanese friend out to dinner. Do be warned that the staff is not trained to explain the menu to visitors: You will be given a printed list of dishes and asked to tick off what you want to eat!

With tatami seating arrangement Tamura is serving quality beverages for quite sometime now. The menu also includes quite a few interesting dishes, like Pig’s Ear on Skewers for carnivores like me..or else one can also try Prawn Tempura.
Also the soup menu is quite likable and delicious. Visit Tamura soon to taste traditional Japanese cuisine.
