After almost 100 years in the business, Karim's is still the only successful commercial establishment in the NCR that attempts true Mughlai food. Though there are moans about declining standards, they stand alone. The Mutton Burrahs are easilyrnthe best in the city. They are practically the only place to serve Nihari and Paaya, which you can be sure will be finished by 8.30am.Other unmissables are Stew (pronounced Ishtoo), Mutton Korma, Shami Kebab and Shahjahani Korma. Thernfood is great value for money and the original outlet in Jama Masjid is far more atmospheric than its various branches.rnWestern tourists, South Delhi foodies and locals in traditional attire all sit shoulder to shoulder and enjoy the food, which is as heavy and floating in oil. Still, Karim's remains eternal!

Very Terrible Food Quaity - Never Visit Karim Restaurant for family or friends outing
Dear Friends,
I am writing this review just for the sake of informing people about my terrible experience with Karim. Myself along with two friends visited Karims Restaurant on 26 Jan 2013 for dinner and we ordered Chicken/Mutton Soups for starter and Sheermaal, Butter Naan, Mutton Nehari, Peshawri Mughlai Gosht as main course. The didn't presented the actual cuisine we ordered. Since we had already experience the taste of foods we ordered in the past, so we are damn sure that the cuisines were not the actual one we asked for. Also the mutton was not completely cooked (tendered). The taste was so terrible that we can not even think of giving them 0 rating. So my dear friends, if you want to save yourself from being cheated then never visit Karim's. There are better restaurants in Delhi,

My experience with Karims at nizamuddin was pretty bad. They opened at 6:30pm and started taking orders at 7:00pm onwards. Well what is the use of opening the restaurant at 6:30pm ? Morover , there was
nobody to attend. Even for water we have to call the waiters atleast 5 times. And the order arrived after more than 45mins. Adding to the misery even the food was not so delicious for which Karim is famous. I saw all the customers dissatisfied within my visibility range and a few complained that the food is stale , jus taken out of the refrigerator and fried again.
I would recommend the Karims at Jama Masjid. At Nizamuddin its not worth the time ,patience and cost.
