Old clients will tell you that the chhole still retains the delicate flavour which they first tasted over half a decade ago when the shop opened. Stand in queue by the side of a particularly grotty part of Paharganj with your fingers crossed because the supply is limited. When you do get your turn, order Paneer Bhaturas to go with the wonderful chhole.

I am not a huge fan of oily food but Sita Ram Dewan Chand’s Chhole Bhatura is something that I can never miss. Served hot this plate of Chhole Bhature has lots of takers and one has to wait for this delicacy. Waiting for the Chhole Bhatura at the Sita Ram Dewan Chand is something that I enjoy a lot as the result is mouth watering and piping hot serving.

He makes Bhaturas once in a day, and then sells them throughout the day, in case you come post 10 AM, you will not get fresh bhaturas, by then Oil gets solidified in them...Cholas are good...you cannot wat bhaturas which have been made an hour earlier...
