Patronized by the office-goers in Rajendra Place, Lanterns Restaurant serves Indian and Chinese and a few European dishes. Mercifully, it has separate kitchens for each: the Tai Chi and the Bukhara Grill. The restaurant has a display kitchen a la the original Bukhara. But the service here is prompt, and the food's not too bad - Murgh Tikka, Prawn Tempura, Prawn Salt & Pepper, Shahi Dumki Kalmi, Kasturi Kebab, Lantern Fried Fish, Dum Saunfia Tikka, Dal Makhni and Naan Bukhara are worth a shot. The European fare includes cliches such as Ginger and Mint Lamb Chops, Moroccan Chicken Steak and Grilled Fish Lemon Butter Sauce. Tai Chi? Chhi chhi! Avoid the Chinese! Lanterns shines neither too bright nor too dim.

I don't like the service and the foul smelling food. Total waste of money and time.
