The first thing is that if you are planning to go to Bbar at select city mall in Saket, a reservation is sort of necessary else you might have to wait a lot. I went here a while back with a big group of friends and reservations came in handy.

Ambience: If you are making our way through the basement parking lot towards Bbar, from that point on there is a certain exclusivity about it as they have got their own different entry area with valet of course. A staff member will check your reservation and take you to the 4th floor where Bbar is. Once you enter, the first thing that will come to mind is Wow. I saw the famous Buddha bar music cd's on the left side where the memorabilia is kept and just remembered of some great electronica fusion music that they have produced. Once inside, The place is huge, lighting is dim and perfect for a lounge bar, interiors are amazing.
It can be said to be divided into 2 areas. One is near the round Bar and Dj console who plays their blend of excellent electronica/lounge music from around the World and mix it with Pop later, and for me if you want to be a part of a lively atmosphere then this is the area as the music played is great and comfy sofas seating is just around the Bar. The huge chandeleirs along with the many meditating Buddhas near the cieling give it a very rich yet divine look, and the constantly changing lighting creates different settings. If you want music in the background and want a slightly quieter place or for conversations then head towards the area on the left side which has more of a restaurant setting and also option of Private dining. The decor there is in Red and black color, the fabrics too look Chinese and a Buddh statue in the corner commands acknowledgement.

Food: First thing that deserves a mention is the Tacos padi chaat which was delicious and quirky for a bar menu. Its the usual potato, peas etc but in avocado sauce and in a Taco. I am not a Sushi fan but the jade platter sushi was decent but the crunchy rice avocado was the best of lot. Asian style artichoke Pizza is not a traditional Pizza but is a Tortilla with artichoke, shitake, onion, wasabi etc toppings and the unusual combo is worth trying. Assorted dumplings are nice but the spring rolls were average as they were not that crisp and filling was not good. In the main course, the crispy vegetables in Szechuan sauce was very good and so was the green curry marinated paneer which comes on skewers. We tried the food with wok fried rice in sweet basil and it was delicious. In deserts the crème brulee was good and Chocolate sesame Bar in coffee ice cream is a must try acc to me for its unusual pairing which gives a crisp bite from choc and smooth taste from ice cream. Bar menu is good too with nice wines selections and Japanese Sake's and Chinese teas and cocktails.
They also have set menus, lunch and Sunday brunch options.

Service: The staff is very good and even on a busy night, they tend to manage things effectively and remembers what you ordered last and if you want repeats. Things are controlled well and they have walkie talkies which saves time to give orders to the Kitchen and Bar.
The fusion concept of Bbar is fully justified not only for the fusion kitchen, music, or for the bar/restaurant feel, but they should expand the menu in vegetarian section just a little more and it will be perfect then. If you visit late then you will be disappointed as like all places now in Delhi this too shuts at 12.30am. But even then you really can not miss this place for its ambience, music and overall Buddha bar vibe. So go right away. Meal for 2 costs around s.4000-5000.

ambience is awesome ... light and very soothing music they play . but one thing discourage me from going is the pricing very expensive and limited veg options . I urged them to add some more variety in veg menu . overall experience was good

I was eagerly waiting to visit bbar again, this time i had made my reservation through e-mail just to check that whether the mail mentioned on their site is of use or not but the e-mail response was quick, impressive! I heard that bbar had arranged for an exclusive DJ night by DJ Carlos, no doubt its good that they opt for brand DJs like carlos and ravin, looking forward to attend their next DJ night.

I noticed that the service of this place has been improved, the staff has become more attentive and
courteous if i compare to my last visit 20-25 days before. No more improper gestures from the valet parking staff. The yakitori chicken and Vietnamese Chicken Spring Roll from the appetizers were the one i opted to try
out this time the chicken rolls was served with its sauce having an sizzling taste, From the main

course: ginger lamb with vegetables, Wok Fried Singaporean Prawn and noodles. Prawns were quite delicious and tender while enjoying the softness. It was fried to a good extent as it gave a good

outcome of the taste and this is what i was expecting for my 2nd visit and the food has impressed me once again. I guess they had made certain changes in the lighting pattern, it was good, as it was giving an

impressive look to the center bar. The music was same as i have expected the bbar collection, this time the dj was more focused on rock music, i was swinging my head in the rhythm. When discussing about the music how can the drinks be

aside!! I was not in a mood to have wine but then the manager suggested me to go for the martini, they had 5 martinis on their menu, i had a Fire B martini, i requested them to serve me the drink on the center bar, the location of the bar of this place is at the center with a circular ring on the top, and the drinks bottles arranged in circular pattern, there were few more couples accompanying me at the bar table, the bar tender`s style of serving was amazing and the moves he made with the shaker, bottles and glasses was quite attractive, after having it on the center bar chair one cant stop praising the bar tender for such a drink. The number of people has been increased, i know bbar is now a days a hot topic of discussion for party lovers. Still bbar is lacking of young visitors, the couples which i saw here were all 27-28+ of age and were enjoying their quality time together. At last the time for desert, without a blink a ordered for the chocolate center cake. The 2nd visit was good as expected, services have been improved the gesture of staff was impressive.
