It was a great idea to have an open-plan restaurant in Galaxy Hotel. The food, cooked right in front of your eyes, is the cuisines of South-East Asia. Most of the offerings on the menu are soups, dim sums, meals in a bowl and noodles. Cultures and cuisines combine here, sometimes in the same bowl. You may get noodles that combine Malaysia and Japan in the same dish, but that's part of the appeal: nothing is traditional, yet nothing veers too far from the tastes of the Orient. Expectedly, the local palate is catered to, so there is chicken in all its avatars and more vegetables than what is consumed in the entire South-East Asian region. It's informal, it's fun and it's got personality.

Thought the food was just ok.. give the duck wantons a big miss. The Basil chicken with sticky rice was pretty good, so was the teppan soba bowl. Eat there for the novelty of set rice / noodle dishes all tossed for you in a bowl.
