True to its name, Den is a dimly lit lounge bar at the bottom of a narrow wooden staircase. Part of Moet's Group at Defence Colony, this 3,000 sq ft club has a large dance floor, comfortable lounge seats, cheerful interiors with a touch of wood and bamboo on the walls and floor. In short, a complete den-like feel. This one promises to take the magic of bars in the vicinity a notch higher with rocking music paired with tequila, scotch and beer. Wednesdays are Ladies Nights serving only domestic beer. The 40-foot long bar stocks a wide variety of imported wines like the Barolo (Italian wine) and Chateaune Du Pep (Red wine). For cocktails try the Mojito, Cosmopolitan and Caprioska. The pizzas are a good accompaniment as a bite with the drinks.

The magical and dark interior of Den is a huge turn on. As part of the decoration his place literary has everything from wall paintings to wood and bamboo products to couch seating arrangement and so on and so forth which reminds me of a comforting den like atmosphere. On to of it, good liquor on the attractive bar area and rock music at the background is just relaxing for the soul. The imported wine collection is impressive and my personal favorite is Chateaune Du Pep. Snacks are the usual items on the menu but I like the freshly baked pizza of Den the lounge bar.
