Vapour is one of the most popular breweries in an otherwise slow mall. Huge and spacious, this beer bar caters to all moods with three seating options - lounge, corridor and terrace. They have a terrace dance floor which is the high point. Done up in dark tones and metal, the bar gives an edgy look. They have great beer cocktails like the Hangmans Blood. Wheat Beer is light and refreshing. The regular cocktails are good too, like the Martini and Margarita. The Mushroom Duplex, Shish Taouk and Chicken Suya are in demand. Amongst mocktails try the Shirley Temple, Setting Sun and Strawberry Banshee. Mint Julep and Bourbonella are other interesting cocktails. A live band plays each Monday and in-house DJs play Rock, Club and Bollywood on other days. The ground floor bar has comfortable seating around it, and the second floor has the terrace and dance floor. It's expensive but fun. It has an elaborate ambience that sets it apart from other such places.

I went there with my friend for his Job party, at first I was quite surprised to see this place because I was not expecting a place as good as Vapour in 2nd floor of MGF Mega city mall where one doesn't go so frequently.
There are 2 sitting areas in Vapour, the outside terrace area is quite good but we choose to sit inside. We went there by 8 o'clock and they were then playing soft music suitable for the time, but as night started passing by the sound of the music started increasing and by 10 pm it was very loud, perfect for dancing.
We tried local brewed beer and it was decent enough and food taste was also good. So it was really good experience overall and I really like to go again to Vapour.

I lost my phone last night and the staff kept it for me and returned it back to me which was such a relief. We went to vapour last night and it was so full that we had to move to the terrace but it was fun. We had a good time. The servers need some training though. I liked the food and drinks. I also loved the well spread out terrace. I will say that this is a good place.

I had heard a lot about Vapour from my Gurgaon friends. Located extremely close to the Sikenderpur Metro Station, the restaurant is on the second floor of the MGF Mega City Mall which is a short walk from the metro station. My friends informed me that they also have a rooftop setting but that it only opens at night. The inside was dark and wasn't very well lit but the pubs are meant to be this way. They have also got groovy red and blue lights which would be amazing at night time, maybe even a bit trippy to the heavy drinkers.
We had chosen their Sunday Buffet Brunch as the hottest place for our department reunion (partially because I had to go back to Noida for Monday office). We were meeting each other after quite sometime and people had even cancelled their CAT classes just to be there. As soon as we entered, I quickly plopped myself onto one of their semi circular cushioned sofas which were pretty comfortable. The waiter informed us that he would be serving the starters on the table and quickly brought us the non-veg and veg starters. There was Paneer Tikka, Chilli Mushroom, Veg Sashlik and Mixed Veg Malai Tikka for the vegetarians and Murgh Kesari Tikka, Chilli Fish, Chicken Sheekh for the non-vegetarians. I really loved their Chilli Mushroom preparation, it stood way above any of the other dishes, even the non-veg ones. The Paneer Tikka was dry and the marination hadn't seeped into the paneer at all. It just felt like I was eating spiced up rubber. The Murgh Kesari Tikka on the other hand had been properly grilled and let out an aroma to die for. The Chicken Sheekh and Chilli Fish were good too.
By the time we were done with the starters, we were extremely full. After taking a small breather, we moved on towards the main course. As we proceeded, we noticed that the once empty restaurant was now almost full and the crowd had actually started pouring in. There were a few people who even sat outside, though I guess it was mostly because they wanted to smoke. Near the main course setting is a live pasta and egg counter. We ordered Pennette in red sauce and were told that they would serve it to our table. Just opposite to the pasta counter was a salad counter where many different types of salads were kept, ranging from the Indianised Tikka Salad to the Italian Chicken Caesar Salad. I tasted most of them but none of them stood out as being extraordinarily good. By this time, the pasta had arrived which was very saucy. I regretted my decision of having ordered it in red sauce and should have gone with the white sauce or green basil sauce as I can't endure too much sweet and sour.
The main course variety was absolutely great, there was Grilled Chicken Kajuns, Thai Steam Bass and Mutton Saag Waala in the non-vegetarian side. I couldn't explore the vegetarian side as I was already pretty full and had to make room for the desserts too. The Thai Steam Bass was pretty bland like most of the other fish preparations I had tasted in Delhi NCR. The gravy was tasty but somehow it had just not percolated into the fish. The waiters had also got butter naans for us which went well with the Mutton. The Mutton was tender and juicy, just the way I like it.
After the main course, all of us were extremely full and needed a break from the buffet, so we ordered a Pitcher of the Vapour Dark beer which they brew themselves. I had never been to a microbrewery before and the thought of drinking freshly brewed beer got me pretty excited. As the pitcher appeared with the dark ice-tea colored beer, I noticed that their mugs seemed quite bigger than the normal ones served at pubs.
The idea of drinking beer before desserts was not a very good idea as it left a bitter taste in my mouth. But as we are unrelenting foodies, I urged on to taste at least the chocolate ones which are my favourite. They had a Chocolate Marble Cake and a Chocolate Velvet Cake. Unfortunately both tasted the same to me with the slight exception that one had more cream than the other.
The bill came to approximately Rs 750/- per person (including the beer) which is an awesome deal for the amount and variety of food served in the buffet. This place seems absolutely amazing and the music, the food and the beer was exemplary and truly value for money.
