If you want to wine and dine far from the madding crowd, The West in Sohna Resort and Spa is the place to head to. A luxury resort from the Starwood Hotels and Resorts, The Westin is nestled about 30 km from the heart of Gurgaon city. The drive to the resort on the NH8 is a little bumpy at places and may take an hour on weekdays, but this only helps to heighten the expectation and appetite by the time you reach the resort. The Westin Sohna is an ideal weekend getaway for families, boasting of a spa, cycling tracks, gym, swimming pool and horse riding and kids-club facilities but is also popular with the corporate crowd. The Westin prides itself as a haven of wellness and rejuvenation, but the surprise is that they do a good job of pampering the palates, too. Their signature restaurant Xiao Chi which literally means small bites - serves Chinese cuisine with influences of different provinces of the Orient. It's an open-air restaurant (open from 6:30 PM to midnight) which also has a bar - The Xiao Chi Lounge. The bar offers a selection of cocktails and mocktails. To help their guests experience the cuisine better they have preset meals personally chosen by the chef on their menu. These meals have a selection of accompaniments and main dishes which compliment each other. Popular on the preset menu are the Xiao Combo (vegetarian) Pipa (Seafood) and Eru(non-vegetarian). They have an expat Chinese chef who specializes in dumplings, has put together a remarkable menu which offers a wide variety of dumplings. Go for the Chengdu Chicken Jiaozi and Vegetable Char Siu Bao. But seafood lovers try the Prawn Har Gao and Pear Shape Fish Dumpling. Further, dig into Crispy Ee Fu Noodles (Pan-fried noodles with vegetables in light soy sauce) which goes very well with the Malak Chicken (sliced chicken in a tangy spicy Sichuan sauce) Also try the Stri-fried Pork and Chong Qing Chilli Potatoes (spicy, crispy potato slices) the two make for good side-dishes. And end your meal with the kiwi with mango pudding. It's absolutely divine.

This restaurant cum bar is a secluded beauty where the low crowd and oriental aroma create magic for diners. Coming here with my better half is always a much enjoyable feeling for me. The Chinese menu has perfect Dumplings, Pipa and Xiao Combo.

just few km from delhi, there is a nice place to be with your frnds...it is an ultimate place to have fun frolic evening...amazing food, great ambiance and absolutely efficient service....loved the place.....

With friends on an evening adventure we planned for this out of the town place just to hog & hog some more. I really liked dere concept of small meals,which allowed us to try some very interesting dishes. Their dumplings are amazing.
Highly recommended.
