Rather grandly they pronounce themselves as serving Bengali, Jewish, Anglo-Indian and Persian food, but in reality they
serve a rather simplistic version of Bengali food. All sorts of rolls, chops (cutlets) and fried starters, along with biryani and ghugni. There is little refinement in the food, but for a Bengali bachelor who cannot cook at home, or a first-timer to the cuisine, Love and Mustard is a taste of the real thing.
