Located on the Surajkund road, The Wine Library at The Claridges, Faridabad is a cute cozy wine lovers dream. Very underrated this little library is a storehouse of collectibles, like the Gaja an Italian vintage or a Henriot a limited edition wine with only 86 bottles world wide in the first batch. They have around 900 variants of wines, champagnes, sakes very impressively journeyed through by their in house sommeliers Sandip Majumdar and Manish Sharma. Begin with a cheese platter of gouda, cheddar and emmenthal with prunes, apricots and crackers, progress to the Pater Sangiovese or a Woodbridge Rose. These gorgeous wines apart do not miss super Chef Gurjyot Sethi's creations of Black Cod presented beautifully with Momiji or Marijuana leaves, the excellent Chicken Teriyaki with sticky rice. End with a trilogy of crème brulees - vanilla, blueberry and ginger with brandy schnapps and kiwi fruit along with a perfectly brewed cup of the Japanese Sencha green tea.
