This modest restaurant is the brainchild of Chef Raminder Malhotra, who is well-known for his specialization in Indian food. One would have expected Mint Leaf to be a testimony to his cooking skills, but the modest little restaurant is no more than a neighbourhood eatery with an extensive menu. One gets the impression that Malhotra himself is not part of the kitchen team, which sadly is not up to the standard that it should be. Still, the menu, vintage Jiggs Kalra (Malhotra and he were associated for years), meanders around the country. Stick to Lawrence Road ke Tikke and Meat Beliram and you'll have a pleasant meal. Given its price, it's a good restaurant.
