The cheery and undeniably fun Beer Cafe has moved to Gurgaon and made way for The Pint Room. Thankfully, the cold brews have remained albeit sans the beer card system. The cheesy drinking related one-liners splashed across the glass walls keeps mall rats from peering in, while lending a casual vibe that makes it seem okay to have a liquid lunch or sneak in a lager before a movie. Like its predecessor, The Pint Room serves global beers previously only found in five-stars and high-end restaurants or in the private stack of a well-travelled friend. And they do it without burning a hole in your wallet, thanks in part to fellow Craft Beer lovers and suppliers like Cerana. When fully stocked, the menu boasts of an enviable list of Belgians, Germans, Americans, Irish, Dutch, Italians, Austrians and well, the other usual suspects including our homegrown brands. There are draught and beer tower options too, but that's no longer a novelty. What I'd go there for is the beautiful Brooklyn IPA and the Chimay Blue, which is their costliest beer at Rs 750, but is worth every cent. They were out of both when we visited, so a Paulaner Original Lager and Duvel were considered sound replacements. I love the care given to pouring each beer in aptly paired chilled glasses that makes the experience that much better. If you go with my picks, Paulaner is a well-rounded Munich lager with a clean buttery, honeyed hop taste and Duvel is a must-try for those new to Belgian ales or those who like it strong with an ABV of 8.5%. Finish off with what I call a dessert beer... Yup, you read that right. The Liefmans fruitesse might appear to be a girly beer, but I've seen plenty of men enjoying it at the end of a spirited night as they hum along to the soft rock playlist. The Easyeats includes Masala Fries, Flavoured Popcorn, Cocktail Sausages and the likes, though the beers are clearly the winners here.

The Pint Room has an enviable collection of beer which actually influence me to visit this place more. The prices are reasonable and perhaps there are only a few places in the city which can offer such beer variety at a time. For munching with beer there is always flavoured popcorn, masala fried and other usual snacks.
the Pint Room is a nice bar which can be awesome with friends to accompany you.
