Kylin is a unicorn-like animal - a mythical Chinese horned celestial, benevolent animal that brings good luck. The lounge bar believes in Asian fusion. The decor, largely in red and black, looks like that of a club in South-East Asia. Coffeecoloured wood screens wrap around low sofas and tables. The food is pleasing to the taste buds and what the diners want. The menu includes, among others, the cuisines of Malaysia, Japan and Thailand. The sushi remains a mainstay of the menu. Their specialities include Kylin Lettuce Wraps, which is a sort of do-it-yourself salad, Wok Tossed Caramelized Prawns, Teppanyaki Lobster with Crisp Basil Leaves, Yaki Soba, Nasi Goreng and Veg Green Curry with Steamed Rice.
