Already popular among regulars, it has almost all its outlets huge, spacious and perennially crowded. The interiors are usually elegant, the best being at Gurgaon. Robust waiters, dressed in smart Punjabi attire, complement the robust fare here. Do try the Raan-e-Punjab; it's truly spectacular! Their version of Brain Masala is very good as are the Tandoori Lamb Chops. The Tandoori Prawns, Dahi ke Kebab and Meat Punjabi By Nature are also highly recommended. Of course, Punjabi By Nature's biggest contribution to Delhi has been the hit of all times - Vodka Gol Gappas! It is for those who are bored of normal ghar ka khana, and this one does not disappoint. It's a must for the lovers of North Indian cuisine.

The portions are really huge, dont miss the Kasturi kebab, we were shocked when it was served, resembled a loaf of bread, expect it was a meat roll stuffed with all the goodness possible. We ordered one naan, which was served to us in four huge pieces, the size of large pizza slices, in fact the waiter even corrected us while we were ordering the main course, and actually suggested we divide everything by half since their portions were that huge! All in all a great foodie experience!

I was one to visit pujabi by nature every now and then, but feel sad that the staff has become very laid back and casual, it feels like they have a union and the management can't really do anything about the laxity but if you talk about the food then it's

When you are a self-proclaimed purist and a fastidious eater , the yummiest platter on the menu can turn you off. While my family patted me for my selection, I was still bewildered. The Carnivore in me asked questions which were almost incomprehensible.
The real deal here are the Tandoori Prawns,Tandoori Lamb Chops. The chops had been seared under the watchful eyes of the chefs,to seal in the juices. It had a lovely smoky, charred flavor. It had a consistency befitting of a chop at the best of the places in India.
The Raan-e-Punjab on the other hand is individually good and relatively passé. Raan being an assorted mughlai delicacy , has a very scattered audience. And when you mention Raan, you ought to have the comparison with the legendary standards of the Raan at Gali Kababiyan.
I know the review is getting a bit verbose....
Raan here is good but I can give it a miss the next time I am here.
What disappointed me is the vegetarian fare. No matter how good the food is ,you got to stick to those Rudimentary and principle flavors from grand ma's grinder when you claim to be "Punjabi" just by the nature of the food.
In my several visits to the State I have never been served a platter of assorted veggies with bean sauce. The family loved it. But I didn't.
I won't be harsh to a place that had modernized the golgappa . Overall , It is a good place. Requisites are obviously big baggy pockets and card holders. Give it a miss if you want that Punjab-e-sque taste. But if this review is very puritanical and you are looking for some good "almost punjabi" kind of food , then Punjabi By Nature is just at a stones throw distance from PVR.
