One of the few Indian restaurants in a five-star hotel that tries hard to make a difference. The theme is the food of the Amritsar-Lahore belt, so although there are favourites to gladden our North Indian hearts, it's done with style. Don't miss the Bhunee Chaat: a lip-smacking plate of tangy fruit and vegetables grilled in a bhatti and sprinkled over with an addictive chaat masala. It has spawned a slew of copies, as proof of its success. The other special is Matarwali Tikki. Amritsari Tawa Meat, Guchhi Murgh, Kunna Gosht, Chapli Kebab and Nalli Rogan Josh are all surprisingly good. If it isrnstyle you're after, make your way to Vasant Vihar; the Siddharth Hotel outlet has, if anything, even better food but the mood of the place lacks the sophistication of its South Delhi counterpart, it's worth checking out for the wonderful regional food festivals that are hosted here from time to time.
