This popular, half open-air eatery gets its name from the Mango Tree group of hotels under whose aegis it functions. The decor is funky and the management the same as that of the Hill Top Motels, where the famous Goan trance-rave parties take place. Breakfast can be a special affair here, with choices like The Mango Tree Special European-style Breakfast, Farmer's Breakfast, Fried Eggs and Non-veg Club Sandwich. The Beef Roast is highly recommended and so are the European-style main course dishes. The Chicken Schnitzel, Chicken ala Kiev and Chicken Steak Sizzler are good. Goan offerings include Fish Curry Rice and Sausage Chilly Fry. Many come here for their Italian fare: a host of pastas in Napolitaine, Arabiatta and Bolognaise sauces and pizzas like Alpolla Pizza and Campolla with Chicken Pizza. And with the addition of the Indian cuisine you can now gorge on Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken as well. Those in a festive mood and ready to splurge, can opt for the exotic Mixed Seafood Platter with Tiger Prawns, which is priced rather high.

This shack called Mango tree near the Vagator beach in Goa. This place is run by local goons / mafia. I went there with my husband in december 2011 for lunch. The manager started misbehaving with me and when my husband tried to talk to him, he along with his staff started beating both of us. Both of us and our friends received bad internal injuries. They were not ready to stop, until some locals / neighbors came and helped us out. The whole staff was drunk, they did not allow us to pick our stuff from the table and we had to leave that place as we feared our life. Police it seems too can't be of help in such cases. All foreigners and Indians, please beware of this place. This place has good food and hence you will not see many negative reviews, but after talking to a few locals, we realized that this place is notorious for this. Hence for your own safety, avoid going to this place!
